In Turkey, social media management prices range from ₺5,000-a-month freelancer packages to corporate agency services above ₺80,000. Because very different work is sold under the same name, putting two quotes side by side is often misleading. This guide collects the 2026 price ranges, what drives the price and the questions to ask before you sign.

What Drives the Price?
- Number and type of content: 8 images a month and 12 Reels a month are not the same job. Video, especially video that needs a shoot, is the biggest price driver.
- Shooting and production: whether the team comes to your business to shoot, and whether editing and subtitles are included.
- Number of platforms: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube each mean a different format and separate effort.
- Community management: who replies to DMs and comments, and how fast? This is usually the part that brings sales.
- Ad management: a separate job from organic management. A common model in the market is a management fee of 15–25% of the monthly ad budget.
- Strategy and reporting: is it just "this many likes this month", or how many messages, appointments and customers?
Agency, Freelancer or In-House Team?
A reference point: according to 2026 data, the average monthly salary of a social media manager in Turkey is ₺46,900, with a range of ₺34,000 to ₺76,600. This doesn't include employer costs, equipment or software.
- Freelancer: lowest cost, but it's rare for one person to be good at design, video, ads and reporting. When they're ill or on holiday, your account stops.
- Agency: design, video, ads and strategy sit with different people. The cost is higher, but usually lower than one employee's salary. We compared the models in our agency pricing guide.
- In-house team: the deepest knowledge of the brand and business; but one employee rarely has every skill, and the cost can exceed an agency package.
For many businesses the model that works is a mix: content ideas and day-to-day replies in the business, production and ads at the agency.
Organic Management and Ad Management Are Not the Same
Most social media management quotes cover only organic posting: content calendar, design, publishing and comment replies. The part that brings new customers, though, is mostly paid advertising. If a quote says "ad management included", ask whether the ad budget is separate or included and which results will be reported. We explain the cost of Meta ads and the 5% location fee in our Meta ads cost article. You can also see our social media management service, which builds organic content and ads together.
8 Questions to Ask Before Signing
How many images, videos and Stories will be produced each month? Are the numbers written into the contract?
Is shooting included; how many shoot days a month?
Who replies to DMs and comments, at what hours, and how fast?
Is ad management included; is the ad budget included in the price?
Who keeps the accounts, the ad account and the rights to the content produced?
Who holds the licences and legal responsibility for music, stock images and AI-generated content?
Which results are in the monthly report: followers and likes, or messages, appointments and sales?
What are the minimum contract term and the termination conditions?
5 Red Flags to Watch For
- Packages offering a "follower guarantee": fake or low-quality followers reduce the account's reach.
- The account or ad account being opened in the agency's name.
- Quotes that list no content numbers, only "professional management".
- A portfolio full of template visuals instead of real clients.
- Using AI-generated people in ads without a label: in Turkey, the rules from 1 August 2026 introduce a disclosure requirement.
